When I awoke this morning And rose to greet the day It
seemed no different than the day before Then I thought to read the
verse It's recorded in God's Word On some ordinary day like today The
Lord will come

On some ordinary day like today The Lord will
come And to take the souls of people far away And I'm listening now to
hear The trumpet loud and clear On some ordinary day like today The
Lord will come

There'll be no time to warn you No time to make your
way So suddenly the Lord will come again The trump of God will sound so
loud It will wake the Sainted dead On some ordinary day like today The
Lord will come

On some ordinary day like today The Lord will
come And to take the souls of people far away And I'm listening now to
hear The trumpet loud and clear On some ordinary day like today The
Lord will come

On some ordinary day like today The Lord will
come And to take the souls of people far away And I'm listening now to
hear The trumpet loud and clear On some ordinary day like today The
Lord will come

And I'm listening now to hear The trumpet loud and
clear On some ordinary day like today The Lord will
come
"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring
with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the
Word of the Lord, that we who are alive, and remain until the coming of the
Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will
descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then those who are
alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort
one another with these words. "
1 Thessalonians 4: 14 - 18
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
