Before Your Throne
There is a higher place than I have ever been
There is a deeper well than I can comprehend
There is a greater Love than I have ever known
And it's here, yes it's here,
Lord, it's here before Your throne
There is a greater mercy than I could err conceive
There is a stronger faith than we would dare
believe
There is a place of rest where we'll never feel alone
And it's here, yes it's here,
Lord, it's here before Your throne
So I bow down before you and cry for it
Lord I fall at Your feet and praise Your name
I have bathed in the light of Your Glory
And it's here, yes it's here, Lord, it's here before Your throne
There are rivers of forgiveness to set the soul from sin
There I feel His waters flowing to heal the wounds within
There's a light of pure redemption to lead the wayward home
And it's here, yes it's here,
Lord, it's here before Your throne
So I bow down before you and cry for it
Lord I fall at Your feet and praise Your name
I have bathed in the light of Your Glory
And it's here, yes it's here,
Lord, it's here before Your throne

~ The Altar of Prayer
~
When we are troubled with a lot things
Never knowing what tomorrow will bring
Just bow your knees at the altar of prayer
God will always be ready to meet you there
At the altar of prayer you will find a friend
He is never too busy, on Him you can depend
He is ready to greet you with arms open wide
Just open your heart and let Him inside
Our Heavenly Father is waiting for you
Just open the door and walk on through
He will show you love and forgiveness there
When you go to meet Him at the altar of prayer
