BE MY VALENTINE
Of all the folks, that are my valentines,
You are the "Tops", for you're of a special kind,
And of all the ones, that I give love to,
You're "number one", because I love you.
As the years come and go, and I try to find,
Folks I can love, and call my valentine,
There seems to be many, that I can send greetings to,
But I'm sending to you, all of my "I love you-s".
So Lord, I say thanks, and where else could I find,
Someone to love, like these kids of mine,
So I'll send them this poem, and save a few dimes,
And at the same time I can say, "Be my valentine!"
With all my love
Dad

Remind Me, Dear Lord
by Alison Krauss and the Cox family
The things that I love
I hold dear to my heart
They are borrowed and they're not mine at all
Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life
So, remind me, remind me, dear Lord
Roll back the curtain of memory now and then
Show me where you brought me from
And where I could have been
Just remember I'm a human and human's forget
So, remind me, remind me, dear Lord
Nothing good have I done
To deserve God's own Son
I'm not worthy of the scars in His hands
Yet he chose the road to Calvary to die in my stead
Why He loved me I can't understand
Roll back the curtain of memory now and then
Show me where you brought me from
And where I could have been
Just remember I'm a human and human's forget
So, remind me, remind me, dear Lord
Just remember I'm a human and human's forget
So, remind me, remind me, dear Lord
